How do they feel? Nick_Ccc • 1 yr. ago. They feel good so far, they’re pretty comfortable, it does feel less padded inside compared to standard AM90 though (making them feel bigger) materials wise they seem rly tough which is a good thing because they’ll hopefully last, one material I’m worried with is the material above the midsole, it I'm coming from a shoe called Nike court lite (gen 1 and 2) - not the zoom one - that has been my goto shoe for many years, and the 97s have the same overall shape for the foot fit. I'm very picky when it comes to comfort and have weird requirements (the air monarchs were very uncomfortable for me for example), but the 97s are very comfortable
1s are the greatest sneaker design ever and are more wearable/versatile fashion-wise but fit kinda hard and narrow…90s are the most comfortable Air Max of the Big 4 (1, 90, 95, 97) but are kinda their own vibe stylistically. I have a different opinion on the 90 Terrascape, I find them more comfy than standard 90s but ¯_ (ツ)_/¯.

Me personally, I like the Air Max 1's more because of the shape of the sole. It has the runner's upward curve at the toebox as opposed to the 90 where it's flat. 97 is okay, stiff but sturdy. 97s are not at all comfortable at all. They are heavy and stiff but that sometimes comes with retro shoes. Ultras 97 are better though.

Any new air max, Lunar, boost, updated new asic, zoom air even new Eva foam shoes are more comfortable than a shoe with technology that's almost 30 years old. The glv and am90 are comfortable compared to shoes from the 90s yeah, but it's 2017, treat your feet to something better
