Now let’s get the new one in there. Pretty much the reverse directions of the removal. Slide the front part of the new tension strut upward into the cradle mount, and slide the bolt into place, from the front pointing towards the rear. Hand tighten the nut onto the bolt, but do NOT fully tighten the nut yet.
There is a technical bulletin on this problem. Problem is with the one way valve for the evap canister. This valve has quit working and is allowing the liquid fuel back in and causes the car to stall. 2005-2006 5.7L 19 gallon saddle tanks start seeing this problem around and after 40,000 miles.

Before the TCM is replaced the only diagnostic to perform is to physical inspection of the transmission wiring harness connection for dirt, water, corrosion or damage. Reply Like.

It started and then quickly ran out of gas and stalled. Then crank but no start. 1/2 a tank of fuel on the gauge. Through research on this site, I narrowed it down to a fuel pump and finally towed it

The sensors need to get below about 1.0 volt (I think the book says 900 mV) before they begin oxygen sampling. It would take ~47 seconds for the Bosch 1/1 sensor, and ~37-40 seconds for the Bosch 2/1 sensor to reach this point. By contrast the NTK’s reach this point in ~7-8 seconds.
